My best friend (a girl) bought the 1st album of Kaizers Orchestra and was hooked. The first time I heard anything of the band was then and I totally liked the band from the first moment.

I got the album because I made a birthday mixtape for the guitar player of my band and searched for screamo- & hardcorebands.

A Song For The Dead. Even though Songs For The Deaf is the album with the weakest sound, the songs and the drumming (!) are superior.

We’re In This Together. I later got to know that some music we used to listen to at a friends place, were NIN too, but I didn’t know that back then, so it doesn’t count.

Happy Hollow. The Ugly Organ is really near behind, but I love the “pop”-ness and the horn-sections of Happy Hollow.
