The new song from Melissa Etheridge could be a strong contender for best original song at next year's Oscars. I discovered it while reading the blog, A List Of Things Thrown Five Minutes Ago.
Matt Marcotte writes, the song is among Etheridge's best–starting off slow and moving into a driving chorus off a simple riff.
