thanks for your response! I am very familiar with their first album but that one track was an odd one out for me... do you have any idea which particular track you think I'm talking about? perhaps they played it differently that night?

How could I not love it? First album is brilliant, and Tangled Up In Plaid? Farrrrrk, was so happy when they started playing the intro to that song. Great set.

Hahahahahaha, a spoken word solo tour?? The last time the Stripes were in Aus, I was about 12, and not really into them :/ And yeah, I've seen photos of Josh, recent ones, he's definitely put on weight. As long as he's not wearing one of those awful songs for the death-era muscle shirts, I'll be happy. haha
