I'm a huge Teena Marie fan and sort of got into the groove for a minute. And yes, I'm sorta diggin Year of the Gentleman.

Variations of jazz (nu / free / avant garde) was strong(er) for me this week; hence Jaga Jazzist, Organic Grooves and Matthew Shipp. No need to qualify Joni or Leon Ware.

Giovanca (pictured above) is a new artist from Amsterdam who I'm really getting into. I think this is what I expected (and would've preferred) from Kissey Asplund.

Harry Gregson-Williams appears courtesy of the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Original Soundtrack (don't judge me). And music by Apparat & Raz Ohara helps me get into the zone so I can finish my work quicker.
