I'm happy you did. isn't he fantastic live? personally I think he's better than he is on his recordings. and was it personal? when I saw him last year it was just him in the middle of the stage with his guitar, no backing band or anything and that was really, really intimate. the links you left were wonderful. I wish he was playing on the upper east coast because I've been dying to see him again but he's not as of right now :(. also he's going to have a new album out early next year called kiss each other clean if you didn't already know, I'm really excited for it~

it was great for me thanks. my friends had never been to a festival before though, so i felt kind of bad that they were introduced to such awful weather :) luckily my first was glastonbury, and the weather was perfect! i really enjoyed the whole thing though it was great although i'm not sure if i would have gone/it would have been worth it had joanna not been there. i'm off to reading later today and the weather is looking.. interesting. xx

my reaction was fairly extreme i now realise. last time i saw her i cried because i was so astonished just to be seeing her and it felt amazing. songs like emily, jackrabbits and in california made me cry because i love her so much. this time i felt more like i was just stood in awe at her, at how beautiful she is and how talanted she is, so i didn't cry half as much. until baby birch! i found it heartbreaking because despite seeing that song performed before i was no where near as close, obviously, i could see the tears in her eyes when she played it and she played it with a passion i hadn't heard in her when she sang it before. i hope that helps explain why i was such a state that evening. and, (i have backup for this, i'd hate to have imagined it!), she smiled at me at the end. and i'm sorry to weep in front of you! what went wrong? you'll have plenty of opportunities to see her again. don't feel bad about it. xx

Thanks for the heads up. I'm certainly not the only 17 year old who listens to the Kinks, but I do love them! It's a pity more people my age don't appreciate older music. :( And that's the best name for a cat ever! haha

Heya, yeah I can't wait! I haven't bought my tickets yet though. Hope they don't sell out. I've heard they're really fun to see live. :) Nice taste btw, I'm liking Radiohead at no.2 ;)

haha yeah i'm going with a couple of my old friends which is going to be loovely cos i never see them any more as i go to a sixth form miles away! they'd actually sold out of teen tickets by the time i booked so i ended up getting an adult ticket, which solves the problem and money isn't a huge issue anyway. i'm so excited to see her again! did you say you've got a ticket? i can't remember. oh, my ticket literally just arrived! :D x
