you're into a lot of the bands that got me started on this obscure obsession of bright clashy sounds. good job sir. and i have bales of whales in southeastern jails. they are there solely for my entertainment and my high demand of quality hair products which contain high concentrated amounts of blubber.

I dig your music taste, and your avatar as well. If you like KARP I'd recommend checking out The Whip. Shit is hard to find, but it had most the same members as karp and kicked a lot of ass. Sadly when the drummer of karp and the whip died they called that band quits.

well, since you asked so nicely.......what is it you are trying to do? single track mixing or final mastering of an ep? the important (and hardest) part is getting the correct mix on the individual "songs", there is no easy way round this, its down to personal taste and can take hours of listening (and years of experience) to achieve what you can hear in your brain. keep the master output well below 0db, use a compressor to take out any spikes. once you have the individual songs bounced down remove dc bias and normalise to -3db (peak), then read the waves L3 manual.
