I'm trying to stick to bands I don't see in the first few pages of your library already. Sorry if you already know these! Her Bright Skies, Pyro Ohio, These Hearts, Survive This!, The Air I Breathe. I'll try to think of some more. You have most of my favorites in your library already haha

I haven't used last.fm since 2012 so I am quite excited to be back scrobbling and contributing to the community again! I found you on Suffokate's comment box and your username sounded super familiar.. checked your page and I guess I've been following you since 2012! I don't know how I met you but I vaguely remember you! So.. yeah! Keep on doing your thing! :)

Thanks Brian. I'll definitely check them out. I happened to buy the Of Mice & Men's the Flood album...2012 I think...and love it. It was at a 2nd hand cd/dvd store. I can find a lot Screamo type groups at used stores like that for pretty cheap. Quick, play it in your car and toss it to the side if I don't like. Though, I'll find a gem once in awhile.

v like a non-hipster or a non-poseur's opinion on being a poseur or hipster holds any relevance. You don't even live the lifestyle. You don't see real scene kids going around bitching about true metalheads for not being scene, so why the hell would it work the other way around? Plus your implication that the words emo or scene have negative connotations to anyone but the biggest pussies around gave me a hearty laugh. It's not that I'm a douche. It's more that I don't have a tolerance for pansies who run their mouths online. Keep trying, kid. Maybe one day you'll grow up. You leave shouts, but don't even allow others to leave you shouts. Typical non-scene faggot lmao

Certain bands and albums have hardcore nostalgia factors with me. Bands like Machine Head, Fear Factory, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Deftones, Mudvayne and Nothingface.. I still am unashamed about loving. As much as un-metal and untrue as they may be in the eyes of some IMN's.. but these new bands man.. these kids... standing on the shoulders of giants... they are just carbon copies and so goofy to me..

Yea we do. I consider DI to be the best deathcore band of all time.. most of the time I see them as a tech death band because their drummer is insane and their breakdowns are off time and like somehow technical. I love Bury Your Dead - Cover Your Tracks. Just straight brutal and the greatest Hatebreed style hardcore album I've ever heard. One of the greatest work out cd's ever. Its just so much fun. I used to jam PTW back in the day. I remember when I first heard TOOD.. It was so brutal. Still busted it out the other day and loved it. ATR I used to love the first couple albums. The guitar work was so catchy and cool. Still enjoy the stuff I mentioned. Some stuff can stand the test of time, for my anyway..

Re: babies having good music taste It was both an insult and a compliment? BTW I dig yr charts and see a kindred spirit with the lack of genre domination in your top 8 sir. But how do babies have taste in anything anyway?

I appreciate your extreme sarcasm when dealing with the idiots on pretty much every metalcore/deathcore/post-hardcore etc band page. *internet hi five*

There's a song on their second album entitled "Digging Your Grave" that was written especially for Austin Carlile of Of Mice & Men. Basically Landon has accused him of a lot of crap he apparently didn't do and still continues to slam him to this day. I've met them both as well. Austin seems like a genuinely awesome human being and Landon was a total dick. Not to mention people in the scene are just generaly turned off by him.
