I like Powerslave myself because I'm a dirty conformist. Piece of Mind is pretty good though too. So is Killers now I mention it. I prefer Iron maiden to the latter though personally.

I like Ibanez. My brother has one of their first 5-string models from the mid 1990s. The thing I like about Ibanez bass guitars is that they are very lightweight. I jammed with his for a while in a small band I was in back in college and I could play for hours without any fatigue. My Yamahas, although they are nice to look at and produce a warmer sound, are very heavy (although not as heavy as a Kramer I once had - that thing was a TANK!). High-end Ibanez basses have the coolest sound to them - I can't even describe it really. Great for metal, I think. What do you like to play? When I was your age, I was trying to play Cliff Burton (old Metallica) and Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) stuff. Then as I got older I started playing more Geddy Lee (Rush) and classic stuff (Cream, Zeppelin, etc.). In fact, i was in a cover band a few years ago and we would play "Smoke on the Water" for 20 minutes to warm up. It was fun. Can you read music or just tabs? I actually learned 2 read music; much better!

What kind of bass are you playing? I have two, both Yamahas. One is a RBX765-A (five string) in translucent green. The other is a P4F (fretless four string) in natural oak.

goeienavond. Ik merk net datk veel teveel muziek luister. Laatste 2 maand weer een 4000 tracks bij gekomen. En dan moet ge rekenen dak nog superveel vinyl draai ook.
