Tue 5 Aug – Rancid, Sick of It All, The Brains

I. I wanted to hear "David Courtney", but overall AMAZING. They played stuff from every single album, if I'm not mistaken.

II. The "new" drummer is pretty good.

III. Usually I don't like when they play Operation Ivy stuff - sorry to say, but Mr Lars Frederiksen will never be as "roots" as Jesse Michaels - but this time, maybe cuz I was there, I enjoyed the hell outta "Knowledge"

IV. Matt Freeman's extended solo in "Maxwell Murder" was so fuckin' SICK! Definitely one of the most talented bass players out there.

V. If I could I would totally go tomorrow again.

VI. Best song: "Fall Back Down" - Personal reasons.

VII. Although Rancid is already a classic, I think I still rather Operation Ivy, therefore I still hope for the impossible. Or better: if both bands were active & Tim Armstrong kept doing his solo stuff. "A Poet's Life" = first class music!
