I'm not quite a social person, but I do enjoy meeting people who are a bit eclectic. Especially if you can easily carry on a conversation with them. Thank you for you kind wishes, I hope I will be able to overcome my shyness a bit, too. My problem is that I unintentionally make such a fool of myself, ha ha. Nervousness is never good in a social setting. Oh, Camera Obscura are fantastic. I hope you'll be able to see them again, too. I am definitely partial towards small venues. They make concerts seem more real and personal. I am planning to go see Echo and the Bunnymen this summer at a very small venue - exciting! Have you seen any unusual birds lately? Today, I was walking by the river and saw a duck speeding by with the current. He looked very happy! xD Take care!

It is very shocking to see eagles, and I hope you will see one eventually. They are so unlike what one normally sees in the skies. Today, I saw a hawk of sorts, and he sat heavily upon a thin tree branch. It was very entertaining. :) Ah, Jeff did seem like he would have been rather kind. Wow, how odd that interviewer must have felt when he found out that Jeff died so shortly after they spoke. I think it's beneficial to meet people like that! Your magnet theory makes perfect sense. I believe I would get along well with such people, but I'm too shy to meet anyone, ha ha. I am set to see Morrissey in June. (Yes, I am still devout. Hmm.) How about you??? You always have lovely concert experiences! Take care! x

Glad to hear that you're living in a place that has many opportunities to see different types of birds. I love the idea of owls outside your window. It sounds like such a nice thing - especially when you only have silly neighbors, like me (although, they can be rather fun to watch, I suppose). Hehe. There are eagles where I live! Tons of them! It is such a prize to see them flying about in the sky. So unexpected. I need to keep my eyes out for other types of birds, though. There are also many trees, which makes me incredibly happy. You must send me the link to that interview whenever you find it. Did the interviewer comment on Jeff's personality? I would love to know. How do you meet so many interesting people? You always seem to have such fascinating stories! Yes, I shall keep on being me - there really isn't any other way to live - especially now that I've gone this far...Take care! :)

I am so sorry for not responding sooner. I dropped my computer and it broke, and it was all downhill from there. Glad to hear you're doing well, and have been excited about school (a very rare thing). I can't entirely say what I'm up to, really - life is so confusing. But, all signs point to my constructing my life as a future starving-artist. Ha ha. (I try so hard not to sound dramatic.) How have you been faring with the bird watching? I still admire the interest you have (or, had) in that. :) x

I've seen people who don't have the power, but change the word against any will. Each to their own, I guess. (Can that phrase apply to alternate word spellings? Ha ha). You are completely right. Glasses can change an entire look for someone, but for the better. I just can't stand when people wear fake glasses. Phonies. Isn't it disgusting, what people do to people? I have so much respect for you and your friends for taking such a trip. Wow, it sounds like they are proud of violence. How sick. Make sure you have a camera with you at all times! They truly are life-savers in that situation, aren't they? The harsh truth of the camera eye, I suppose. As I was reading your last message, I was thinking of how you and your friends should write some sort of memoir that includes the photos you've taken. That would be extremely interesting. You'll have to let me know how the trip goes, regardless. How long do you plan on staying there?

I suppose if you want to become an intellectual, the most effective way to show your psuedo-intelligence is to add a silent letter to words that don't need them! It is a great name regardless. Adam Ant looks quite different than he did back in the 1980's, doesn't he? I haven't seen very many recent photos of how he looks now, though. Poor Howard Jones! A similar incident happened to Morrissey. I think someone threw sausage at him, and it landed in his mouth. I don't understand it! Interesting trip you have planned. How are you going to take pictures, if you don't have a camera? xD Take care! x

Apologies for not responding to you sooner. Life has been odd in the way it's been keeping me from the internet. I love the photos of those birds. Both of them are majestic. The name ptarmigan would be a fantastic one for a person! Nice and unique - both of which are lacking in the world. I saw on Twitter that you had an Adam Ant experience! Please, tell me. Ha ha. I have a story too. A couple of weeks ago, I saw a mildly popular 1980's artist named Howard Jones. He is quite brilliant. I suppose I was sitting in the right section because he stood right next to my seat...twice. Interesting! I felt kind of ridiculous though, because when he was standing there I couldn't even sing along - too embarrassed. Ha ha. Anyway, I'm sure gaining the attention of Monsieur Ant was fantastic. xD Hope you're doing well! x (P.S. Did you get your camera fixed yet?)

Thanks for taking the time to listen - glad you enjoyed it :) I decided on the EP title - [album artist=Danny Sherwood]When My Ship Comes In[/album] - and wanted a picture of an upturned boat to represent that song. It's not my photo unfortunately, it was taken by a really good Canadian photographer Melissa Mercier (www.melissamercier.com). When I saw it, it just felt right.

That is amazing. The copies actually wore out? That is dedication, if you ask me. Does she still have the copies? The fact that she said you're as weird as Klaus is fantastic. I can only imagine. I'd call it one of the best compliments ever. The closest I ever got to a band member was Davy Jones from the Monkees. He ignored my smiles, but I was so close to him that he spit on my arm once or twice when he sang. Why am I even telling you this? Ha ha. Anyways, yes publishing companies ONLY look for what is going to sell. I don't know how it is in Scotland, but over here the only things that get published are vampire novels, which is terribly disturbing, especially if you are a writer who wants to get something published. Seeing those birds must have been revolutionary. How exciting. You've seen so many species, too! Have you ever thought about traveling around the world to see other birds? :)

Scratch what I said before, I'd live there, too. I'd dye my hair blue black and wear some kind of spaced-out asymmetrical outfit and enjoy my time on that planet. This one's too overrated and upsetting to be enjoyed, ha ha. Oh, I forgot you were going to see Patti Smith! That's what I *love* about poets (and artists in general), most of the time, what they look like is irrelevant. It's their work that really matters. Absolutely fantastic. You always seem to have some amazing encounter with at least one of the band members! I'm envious. As for my artistic inclinations and aspirations, no, the book hasn't been published...YET. Publishers and literary agents are completely impossible to please. I may have to self publish the children's book too. I'll let you know if I do. How is your photography and observations going? :) (Nice Nomi photo by the way - I watched it over and over and over again!)

Ah, that sucks about the zionists.. It's good that you're interested in the Palestinians, what's happening is terrible and my family has seen a lot of stuff first hand over the years. I just visited the wihdaat refugee camp actually. Hopefully some day we'll win our land back and the right of return.

It does, but at least I have more time to do other things, ha ha. I have never heard of Hazel O'Connor, but I just watched the video and am stupefied. She is fascinating. I want to visit that planet, wherever it is! Oh, and I'm sure Morrissey would appreciate the fact that you took the time to sing one of his songs. I don't think I could do that. I'm far too shy. Hm, I haven't been up to much. Yesterday, I deleted my twitter because it was taking up way too much time and keeping me away from things. So if you try to message me on there and I don't respond, you'll know why. xD I may or may not go back. We shall see. Other than that, I've been trying to get a poetry book published to an e-book, which should be interesting. Anyway, how have you been? Seen anything interesting lately? :)

Aw, well, I suppose 2 weeks isn't too long of a wait. I'm not walking the dog anymore, sadly. They didn't need me anymore, ha ha. It was quite an easy job, though! Exploring is nice! It's amazing, all the things you got to see. I don't think I've seen any of those creatures where I live, which is quite unfortunate. They all sound so interesting. Anyway, yes she did look ahead of her time, didn't she? She could have fit in with Klaus Nomi! xD Hope you're having a nice weekend!

Hi! Hope you're doing well, too! Have you gotten any news about your camera yet? :) As for my display photo, she's a model named Peggy Moffitt. She was popular in the 1960's. The funny thing is that she still has the same bowl haircut, ha ha.

You recited a poem for elvis costello? Sounds interesting - how and when and why? But your friend, I think you should call her Gaylord if it makes her happy. Because happiness, you know.. It's a positive thing. Although some say it also inevitably leads to sadness. But the compulsory photograph in front of the club, you didn't take it? About the peaks of obsessions, however, in my case at least, they have always returned. For some reason. There have been months and even almost a year in one case but... Moz returns. I guess it's some kind of constancy. And more the idea and the sound and the timbre than the actual songs. But what about the birds? I like the word.. Birds. Sounds like böörds, y'know.

Of course you're not. Although Nerdlinger would be an interesting name to have, sort of out of the same league as Gaylord or.. Some other. Anyway - I used to have a shopping bag that I think had 'Gaylord Inn' written on it which I thought was quite cool and all radical. (And how are you?)

no, unfortunately, i didn't take the photo! i agree, though. it doesn't get very cold where i live, but i think looking at scenery with snow is very surreal and beautiful. do you take an interest in photography?

Awesome! I was hoping to get on stage but alas it was not to be. I loved it, the last time i saw him it was a half an hour set at 2 in the afternoon in Hyde Park so I was happy I got a whole 3 hours this time. Yeah sometimes the crowds in the armadillo can be a bit static, they just take a bit of convincing though haha

I thought about staying after the gig and seeing if I could meet them outside but decided against it, the drummer Pete Thomas is a legend. He played on a few albums I like he also played on Elliott Smith's later album Figure 8. You should have a listen to some of his stuff if you like Costello and The Smiths he's great

Haha yes I know what you mean. The support were Billy Bragg, Dan le sac vs. Scroobius Pip and Beans on Toast. Being a massive fan of all of them, it was like a perfect line up for me! Yeah we saw Against me! and emily barker on his november tour. Haha, that's cool about Emily barkers red clay halo, they were busking outside wembley to the queue! Then they joined him on stage for a few songs also... really good.

Haha, thanks! Yeah I did... I've seen him a few times now, but at Wembley... wow! A lot of people were worried in such a big venue the personal feel would be lost, but it definitely wasn't. He smashed it. The supports were ace too. He did a duet with billy bragg, which was unbelievable. Yeah, sorry, I could talk about it for days lol, anyway, really good! He's announcing a new tour later this week I think
