Mon 5 Apr – Copeland, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business, person L, Deas Vail
The day started with a 3 hour trip to Nashville and then a 2 hour wait in the sun for the venue to open its door and 1 hour for the show to start with Deas Vail.
I saw them a little over a month ago and they were really good then considering the venue, which was too small. They were even better on a larger stage in a real venue. Loved every song, just wish they weren't the opening act and could have a longer setlist. This band is so underrated and I think they have a big future.
Person L should've been the opening act cause they weren't that good.
I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business was pretty good but I enjoyed Ace Enders talking more than his music. He was like a Michael Cera twin. lol.
Copeland finally came out on stage and was completely amazing. I will miss them greatly in the years to come, but thankfully I will always have their CDs to enjoy. I'm so glad I got to see them one final time.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think this was the setlist:
Take Care
Careful Now
I'm A Sucker For A Kind Word
The Grey Man
Chin Up
Control Freak
Coffee
On The Safest Ledge
The Day I Lost My Voice (The Suitcase Song)
Eat, Sleep, Repeat
Pin Your Wings
No One Really Wins
