ok i just have to say, this one song from agalloch - the white ep is fucking amazing.

it starts with some ambient sounds, waterside maybe, some horns blowing in the background and a off-beat tribal drum coming from… somewhere. its a mostly acoustic instrumental piece, with some chanting thrown in for good measure, but that distorted bassline that starts in the middle of the song is something out of this realm. its quite frankly the single most beautiful thing ive ever heard. i cant stop listening to it.
