When I got home today the new Kevin Gordon CD o Come Look At The Burning (new, heh, it's 2 years old now…) was in the mail. It's more of a rock thing than the other CD of his I have (Down to the Well), but I got it on the strength of the single (which is the best John Hiatt song Hiatt never wrote). I need to listen more, but I find it a nice swampy, bluesy but very serious party record so far. Reminiscent of John Hammond & CCR at times.
