Your compatibility with ChrisFallout is Low. You both listen to Tame Impala, Bloc Party and twenty one pilots. i dont listen to TOP but first 2 are some pretty nice comparisons for a low compatibility :)

Congrats on your 10th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY today :-) ... What is your sentiment about lastfm now, and if you still remember, what did you expect when you joined the "scrobblers"? ... P.S. Let me dedicate this piece (e.g. on AppleMusic) to this birthday of yours: ... genre: minimal/experimental -> 2nd track, from album ('violin meets piano (3rd album)'): ... "in ten seconds darkness comes" (with 100 beats per minute) ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/in+ten+seconds+darkness+comes ... Let's all stay away from this stupid Corona disease, and playi our favourite music from our homes more ... How is the global COVID-19 situation in your country ?

Thank you, it's been quite the journey with how much my taste has changed and what music has helped me at what times. Last.fm is like preserving a song in a time capsule when you go through the stats... if that makes sense. Thanks again.

They kinda remind me a little bit of 5sos, not sure if that's just me. Can see the appeal but yeah, slightly too much pop for my tastes haha. Nice one man! I recently left Scotland to work down in London so things are new for me down here. Loving things at the moment though, and it's a hell of a lot better to get myself to gigs!

Yeah, totally agree. AMD was slightly disappointing compared to everything else they've put out, but i'm intrigued with the direction they've taken towards this album. No guitars on a Say Anything record sounds strange, but Max has never been one to shy away from putting something different out there, so I reckon they could pull off something special. Andy Hull is awesome in Six Six Six too, always been a fan of Manchester Orchestra. Also can't wait to hear more of Bemis/Conley together! Glad you enjoyed Devil, it's not their best album in my opinion, but it was an impressive comeback for Owens I felt!

Sweet, can't say I've heard of them but I'm always prepared to try anything out, I'll give them a listen to shortly! Daft Punk are one of those bands that I've always enjoyed their big hit songs, but have never actually dug into their discography to check them out properly. Might need to get around to that. Huge fan of La Dispute and TBS, what did you make of the new material? There's been so many great releases this year already, TBS, La Dispute, I Am The Avalanche, Manchester Orchestra, Seahaven, Fireworks, Architects, Issues...the list is endless. it's definitely been an incredible start to 2014.

Wild! We escaped our usual icy winter this year, but were hit pretty bad with the rain here too! Beloved is awesome bro, proper stoked to see them live again. You a fan of Chiodos at all? They're playing at the festival too, and I'm buzzing to see them live now that Craig's back! Had a listen to their new album yet btw?

I only heard of it, haven't read it yet. But I know they made a TV show out of it, based on this story.

I really love long books, when the story is good. :) But I might check them out, thanks. :)

Okay, thanks for the explanation. :) Haven't read any such novellas. But I know King wrote some and published them. :)

Good on you for supporting artists you like. I'm glad you liked it anyway, I would recommend Alive 1997 as well but it's not really as accessible as Alive 2007. If you appreciate Homework and their older grittier sound, give it a try. Otherwise here's to an Alive album in 2017?

I'm not much into these terms like novella, so I don't know exactly what you mean. Is it sort of short story? Then I don't have one. I rarely read short stories.

Amazing! :D Probably IT is my fav novel. Even though I only read good books by King. :) Yes, his imagination is limitless. Oh, and I forgot to mention Tolkien, I love The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Without them there would probably no Dark Tower series or Harry Potter. :)

The Harry Potter books are definitely my fav series. I really think it isn't only made for kids, it is a story for everyone. So full of love and magic. :D Then I'm currently reading The Dark Tower saga by Stephen King, he is my fav author. And I enjoyed The Hunger Games Trilogy. I like vampire stories like the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris, really good actually, not like the Twilight crap. :P And I like the books by Lisa J. Smith, The Vampire Diaries. :)

Game of Thrones is a show I haven't watched yet, but it is on my list of shows I have to watch. :D I heard only good stuff about it and I like fantasy stuff. :) But I think I'll start with the books, as I am a bookworm. :P

Aw man, I can't stop going back to Issues album. I've always been a fan of Tyler Carter and his voice. When he sings in the album you can totally hear how r&b influences him massively, and it works so well throughout the whole album. Give it a shot dude! I've never been sort of fixed into one genre, my taste is literally all over the place which I suppose isn't really a bad thing. Other than Issues though, I've only really been listening to Architects and Northlane as I'm going to see them in a weeks time. Was so chuffed to hear Northlane were coming over from Aus to support!

There's so many smaller aussie metalcore bands out there that are starting to get a lot more recognition, like Northlane, Buried In Verona, In Hearts Wake, Saviour, For All Eternity, Hand Of Mercy, Prepared Like A Bride etc...i could go on and on, obsessed with aussiecore. If you haven't given any a proper listen to, definitely worth checking out. Yeah, Haven't had the chance to get round to the new IKTPQ album yet man, but i love those guys. Saw then live years ago after they released Music For The Recently Deceased and they put on one hell of a show. Devastated when they broke up but was glad to hear they're together putting out new music, I'll need to check it out shortly! Have you checked out Issue's debut album? I've been obsessed since it's release!

Yeah that'll be awesome mate, i'd kill for that! Would love to live in Aus, the Aussie metalcore scene is one of my favourites, so many smaller, up and coming bands that are sounding sick! Yeah it's a big disappointment, I definitely can't make it to the show. Just gonna have to sit and wait patiently until next time man!

It's looking more and more unlikely that I'm gonna be able to go which is killing me! Just don't have the funds to pay for travel and accommodation, I've already got Architects to see next month, and I'm going to Slam Dunk in May this year which will cost a fair bit as that's down in Leeds. Slam Dunk's always a brilliant mix of hardcore and pop punk so i'm pretty stoked for that. Just hate not living closer to the bigger cities where bands tend to tour.

Tell me about it, feel like it's a dead end job here, desperately wanna get out there and do something that can go places. Sweet, that'll be decent mate. I was a country kid myself growing up, moved into town about 4 years ago. It's only a small town though, I'd love to head out to the city myself. Brand New are touring shortly with Saves The Day over here, I'll be devastated if I miss out on that one! Perfect lineup.

yeahh it does hey.. i followed pretty much everything lostprophets related - heaps of interviews, social media, gig reviews etc. never could i imagine ian to be the monster he is.. i can only imagine what his friends/family/rest of the band/basically anyone who has ever gotten to know him feels. i guess you can never really know someone, no matter how close you are with them hey? sometimes when a lostprophets song come on rejoice for a second or two before it all comes back..

it's not bad I guess, but HMV is far from what it used to be. I feel your pain, there isn't much excitement involved with my job either. Sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day can be ridiculously dull, if i ever forget my headphones i'm in for one hell of a boring shift! Any decent gigs coming up in Aus soon?

Highly recommend Alive, it's a very cool mix of songs from Homework, Discovery and Human After All. Makes me regret not going to see them live in 2007, although I'm not sure I could have even been able to get into the show then. I also doubt that they have anything in the works right now, as far as a fresh album - they've said they want people to absorb the album they've spent 5 years on. And they're probably feeling pretty good about themselves after RAM won Album of the Year. Although I'd love to be pleasantly surprised..
