This tag is a great indication of the degree of mainstream-ness/crossover of an artist. Let's take an example. Sade and Luther Vandross sure are quiet storm artists but the "quiet storm" tag doesn't appear in their main tags because most of their audience is unaware of this genre. It's not the case for Freddie Jackson, quiet storm is one of the main tags for him because he has much less crossover appeal than Vandross, while the latter is almost as fitting to the genre as Freddie is. Interesting, ain't it?
