But the majority of people do just blindly follow the faith they've been brought up around. That's why TWY have such a view. You have to generalise and these people are in the majority. The Wonder Years have done nothing wrong in that respect. I will also bet that when the priest was telling you to think about your belief critically he didn't do so in a scientific way. Otherwise you'd have all concluded that there's not a shred of proper evidence and you could have all gone home and reclaimed every Sunday for the rest of your life.

yeah incredible song musically, it's just too bad that they hold the same misconception about chritianity that many athiests hold today. Still the lyrics are well written. It's ironic how theyre criticizing women who push their children into "half formed beliefs" meanwhile the bands beliefs are only half formed as they are not informed of what the church really believes in. I go to church every week, and I can't count the many times over the years that the priest has told us to think about our beliefs critically and truly question why we believe that, unfortunately the church bells weren't enough to get the band members to go to church. But the sad truth is many people do just blindly follow the faith because that's how they were brought up, so I don't blame them for having this view on religious people, which is just sad. But with all that being said, I love this band and especially this album, can't wait to see them at warped.
