Definitely must have heard it when it was on the first season of Mr. Robot (the one good season), but tracked it down after hearing it on Chapo Trap House.

They just dropped it again on an ep titled after the song. It was so funny to close an episode about "Assassin 33 A.D." with it, I still can't believe a guy named Jim Carroll directed it

seeing Jim and his magnificent band perform this live at San Francisco's MabuhayGardens numerous times 1979-82 was incredibly inspiring. the intensity that he displayed on stage was a thing to behold and long cherish. and now that he has gone, passed on before his time, i am sad but thankful that i was able to experience the great Jim Carroll when his flame burned oh so bright ~ OhYeah

Still can't believe he's gone...I've never met Jim Carroll, but I owe him one for getting me through a shitty time in my life. Maybe in the next life man. RIP

like a time machine, this track takes me back to moments at the Mabuhay Gardens, San Francisco's punk palace, circa 1980. members of other locally popular punk bands joined Jim and his great band for a rousing jam session featuring this song. i can still hear the roar of the crowd.....
