Owl City (ang. Miasto Sów) jest projektem muzycznym wokalisty Adama Younga, założonym w 2007 roku. Adam zaczął tworzyć muzykę w piwnicy swoich rodziców, ponieważ, jak sam mówi, miewał bezsenność. Jego nazwa pochodzi od nazwy miasta rodzinnego Owatonna, Minnesota. Popularność ten młody wykonawca zyskał dzięki portalowi myspace.com uzyskując ponad 6 milionów przesłuchań.
