The bassline in this song is much more independent to the other instruments than in the song YYZ. The bassline there just follows the main guitar for half the song, how can you say that is the best bassline ever... Besides from that it's not even that spectacular. It's not the "hardest to play" bassline we're talking about either. This one is really creative, and adds much depth to the song. Even though I don't particularly like much of the other muse stuff. (Basically because it's not complex enough for my taste, but that can't be said of this song.) :-)

Massive. Though to truly appreciate, it must be listened to extremely loud, with some good quality headphones (or live;]). I'm stuck with words to express how perfect this is. Probably the best song of all time. The amount of times I have listened to this song and it still amazes me the very same each time.
