Biografia
Piotr Krompiewski was born on 6th July 1977 in Krosno Odrzanskie. His music journey began in 1992 when Piotr got his first computer Amiga 500, which he used for composing his first music projects using pro-tracker, heart-tracker programs. These four-chanels programs allowed him to compose music in “mod.” format (music module). In years 1992 – 1995 he made a quite big group of music modules like: “jazz”, “yazz” and “krompiu”.
In 1996 Piotr contacted Alderan Company, which advertised in popular magazine “Magazyn Amiga”. Apart from promoting their educational programs they were also looking for graphic designers, musicians/composers, programmers/coders.
Alderan Company was meant to be a distributor of computer game “Brain Dead”. (Name had to be changed to “Brain Killer” because of Peter Jackson’s movie with exactly the same title “Brain Dead”). The game was made by Virtual Madness Group from Lodz. Piotr made a contact with graphic designer at Virtual Madness Group, what gave him signed contract with the Company on the 15…th… October 1996. He worked as self-employed freelance responsible for sound effects to “Brain Killer” game. Apart from music theme he also did sound effects like gun shots, creaming of dying enemies, explosions, etc … . Those effects were made by using mono sampler connected to Amiga serial port and sampler connected to video recorder where Piotr put action movies on and recorded those sounds straight away to the computer.
