Elly Jackson (La Roux) sounds kinda like Keyshia Cole on this; she sings part of the hook ("fast cars, shooting stars"). She's in soft rather than shrill mode, which would apply to Keyshia's singing style as well.

I really like this track, the beat is nice and rich with the drums and horns, but Fergie kind of ruins it- sounds like she's trying to pull a Nicki Minaj or something.

Also, I will never understand why Kanye gave Fergie a verse -not even the hook, which I could MAYBE understand, as she has a decent singing voice- but a verse, when he had all that talent at his disposal. If he got Drake, or even Nicki Minaj to do a verse, the song would have no flaws. It's not like Fergie kills the song, but she seriously injures it and keeps it from being as perfect as it could be.

Like Kanye, The ghost of Christmas Past, and Stevie Wonder riding a Pegasus in the aurora borealis.

I can't hear: The-Dream, Elly Jackson, John Legend or Ryan Leslie :( I'm assuming the very very former and the latter were on production credits or something?

Awesome song, might be the best song on the album, but Fergie nearly kills the entire song.

I don't get all the hate for Fergie and Rihanna... Fergie killed it, even if she does sound like M.I.A. Although it should be noted that it's not really the first time Fergie sounds like that. And besides, had M.I.A. been on this track, I guarantee it wouldn't sound the same. M.I.A. has gotten a real big head after "Kala", and there's no doubt on my mind she would've tried to change SOMETHING on the song.

This is my favorite off the new album. It should be the next single; this song is immense!

"According to MTV, the horn-driven jam features (deep breath) Rihanna, Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams, La Roux’s Elly Jackson, and piano from Elton John. Impressively enough, you can actually pick out quite a few of those voices listening to the track— especially Fergie, who raps a quick verse and sounds a lot like M.I.A.” Woah for real? That's a crazy line up.
