    Love this band! It is a shame I could not attend their show in the Netherlands last year! And about the nationalism: I favor classy, creatively expressed nationalism of these Canadian gentlemen over the devolved, redneck-pride of (read: most) Americans.

    "Les Hivers De Notre Époque" was a pleasant surprise - earthly and simple yet finely crafted and radiating a natural power, with a passionate vocal delivery.. "Déluge Blanc" is a stormy, triumphant, proud piece.. Just what is needed..

    Please excuse me for taking even more space in this shoutbox and your time. I just wanted to react on the result of my research. What i find specifically peculiar about the quote i just posted bellow, is that the author says that the book cannot be seen as philosophical teatrise 'in the strict sense'... In the strict sense? I would say in no sense at all! Sure, i haven't read the book, but any book appealing for racism and sexism can by no means be called a philosophical book. Be it in a srict or in a broad sense. Sexism and racism are, arguably by far, the best examples to explaing what philosophy NOT is: irrationality.

    I was curious though and did a bit of research on the text you recommended me. This is what i found: "Might is Right - the Survival of the Fittest", by Ragnar Redbeard, is a case for Social Darwinism. It is not a philosophical treatise in the strict sense, but more of a "manifesto" for racism, sexism, the worship of strength and the virtues of war, such as unbridled rapine, extreme unscrupulousness, joy in risk and contempt of danger."

    I'm all ears. Or better, eyes, in this case. It's curious though that someone like you, with your strong belief in social darwinism, appeal to authority (in this case a certain Ragnar Redbeard). I was rather expecting an original answer with your own words, for if this is indeed a war of all against all, there is truly no sense in trusting anyone who-so-ever.
