Bad opinion. AC/DC is a great band. Powerage is a break from their usual sound and Bon goes all out like the creative genius he was with deeply poetic lyrics and plus back in the 70's they have songs that use instruments and styles not seen that commonly in rock such as "Fling Thing", a instrumental reminiscent of traditional Scottish music, or bagpipes in "It's A Long Way To The Top". THeir songs dont even all sound the same, examples being "Love Song" and "Night Prowler". Bon could also use wordplay and clever metaphors to compare a topic of a song in a humorous way (The card game in the song "The Jack" which is about well...catching the jack.), writing about the hardships of being in a band, along with writing ballads such as "Ride On" which is about loneliness and depression of a ruined relationship from alcohol. He could be poetic on other songs too like "Ride On", "Down Payment Blues", "Gone Shootin'", "Ain't No Fun (Waiting Round To Be A Millionaire)" and plenty o others

If they weren't good they wouldn't have two albums on the 500 greatest of all time (Highway To Hell, Back In Black) And they have the 2nd bestselling album of all time, Back In Black even if that's really not their absolute best. Famous musicians such as Ozzy complimented Bon Scott's creative work and the band in general including Eddie Van Halen and Keith Richards even stating Powerage is their favorite album by them and Slash listed Down Payment Blues as a huge inspiration to him before, on stage they're a powerful blast of pure energy and raw rock n roll, watch any of Bon's live performances with the band and it's mindblowing. One of the best frontmen of all time and Angus' antics are always entertaining and impressive and compliment Bon perfectly. Plus Angus Young is also listed on the best guitarists of all time, which again, would not happen if they were actually a bad band. AC/DC triumphs and they deserve their place among the rock giants. Prog rock simps...

[Verse 1] She was a vaxx machine, she kept her immune system clean She was the best damn woman that I ever seen She had the pro-science eyes, telling me no lies Knocking me out with those quarantined thighs Taking more than her share, had me fighting for air She told me to mask up, but I was already wearing three 'Cause the walls start shaking, the Burger King was quaking My tummy was aching, and we were ordering the Impossible Whopper [Chorus] And you vaxxed me all night long Yeah, you vaxxed me all night long

Literally so based to make 14 albums that all sound exactly the same but are so fucking fun. Fuck off pretentious prog-tards.

New album is fire. For some reason "Mists of Time" and "Witch's Spell" have a sad quality to my ears, if that's possible with AC/DC. But good sad, not bad sad. Anyway, not a single bad track on this album.

David O. Nelson went on a Mission to Australia in about 1974? Did you see him? He's about 6 foot 10 and used to dig songs like, "Highway to Hell".

There are few universal constants. If PWRϟUP is anything to go by, ACDC is one of them.

I honestly gain so much enjoyment out of Power Up. I thought I had long grown out of AC/DC but I'm glad I checked it out. Stellar performance and lots of fun.

Playlinks to Spotify and Apple Music on the track page should work (affords a Premium account), YouTube video is from VEVO, so it doesn't play on the track page, but if you right-click it, it will play directly on YouTube: https://www.last.fm/music/AC%2FDC/_/Shot+in+the+Dark Should also be the new official video then, not the audio version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54LEywabkl4

New album in a month, boys and girls. Shot In The Dark is a damn nice teaser. That immortal Acca Dacca groove is chugging along, bloody glad you're back, Phil. You too, Cliff old mate. Brian sounds in as good a voice as he ever has. Stevie is doing uncle Mal proud and Angus, what can be said about the little fella. Still a bundle of energy and playfully cheeky as if the last 50 years of political correctness didn't happen. The usual critics will denounce them for sounding the same and that's precisely why legions of rock n roll fans still love 'em. They're uncorrupted by time. If you first pressed play on an AC/DC song in 1974 or 4 minutes ago, you're still getting the same swagger, attitude and power they've always served up. 2020 has taken a lot from us, just today us rockers said goodbye to Eddie Van Halen, but rock n roll is still alive and always will be long after we've walked that Stairway to Heaven or sped down the Highway to Hell \m/
