Rock N Roll Damnation is surely one of the best AC/DC songs Jonathan... And Surfmonkey: You're right, it's really hard to listen to more than 5 Johnson songs at once... But all in all they were/are both ac/dc so I like them both... you can't bring Bon back anyhow :'-(

Johnson's voice was more or less blown out on everything after Flick of the Switch. It's very hard to listen to on the more contemp recordings. Johnson's lyrics (when he writes them) are far below Bons. The Young brothers have never been able to come close to Bon's writing either. Only a vocalist? Please. Bon made AC/DC a differnt, better band than Johnson does.

I don't think back in black is the best song, perhaps high voltage or rock n' roll damnation

A lot of people here seem to be close-minded. Bon Scott only wrote the lyrics. Angus and Malcom always wrote the riffs. AC/DC is just finding different ways to shoot out their blues-based hard rock tunes, with a different singer. I know the newer stuff sounds different, but it's roots are still the same. And I prefer Bon's vocals, but Brian can still tear up the old tracks with finesse.

Let There Be Rock, Powerage and Highway to Hell. Those are really the classic AC/DC albums. The band was at its peak when Bon died. Nothing after Highway to Hell comes even close to the heights they achieved with Bon. Personally, I dig Back in Black, For Those About to Rock and Flick of the Switch but only as add-ons to the main body of their catalogue. Everyting else post Bon blows.

Why are so many Highway to Hell tracks low in the charts? That's their best Bon-era album!

They're contracted to do one more album for Elektra. I think they'll call it quits after that and release a bunch of live albums, greatest hits and rarities.

Powerage and Flick of the Switch are the most underrated albums. For Those About to Rock is the most overrated (though it's still a good album).

These charts seem to be ignoring many of the great songs from the Bon Scott era... very unfortunate, because that was when AC/DC's best music was made.

these crazy fools need to do an 07' tour...been 6 years since they were around. Ac/Dc are truly one of the greats!!

The live version of Whole Lotta Rosie on If You Want Blood You've Got It is excellent. Much better than the studio version IMO.

@ENKC: It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) is so low on the charts because there are so many different ways people tag it. Add up all the different tags' amounts and I bet it's in the Top 20.

Yeah, people say they're washed out and past it, but some of the stuff I've heard off Stiff Upper Lip is awesome. Can't wait for the new album. Also, WTF is going on with It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) being at number 73 on the charts? It's basically their most famous song with non-fans. Damn lazy/ignorant/stupid taggers...
