HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT..... I wasn't ready for this... I'll always remember and love you, dude. Thanks for great music and helping me (and many-many other people) go through hard times.

RIP Jordan Blake. His death truly breaks my heart in a way that was very different to Chester Bennington, Mitch Lucker, or Robin Williams. He was an underdog for so damn long and I was hoping he would get that comeback, but it ends like this instead. What a bummer. He may not be in the spotlight, but in my eyes, he's a legend. Thank you Jordan for giving my high school days nothing but good vibes.

Well Sucker is just Jag and a bunch of randoms. The original lineup will (hopefully) release new music eventually as "ASD" since Jag stole "A Skylit Drive" from them. Look at the merch that OG ASD recently released and compare it to the Sucker merch, and you can see who has the better creative vision.

Yea, Jag rebranded Signals as A Skylit Drive shortly after the OG lineup announced their reunion, then the original lineup posted in April: "we must inform you that we have decided that in the spirit of alleged damage control while legal issues at hand are sorted, we will be moving forward as ASD for the foreseeable future." The OG lineup hasn't announced any new music yet though, it looks like they're just focusing on the She Watched The Sky anniversary shows. Hopefully they're working on new stuff behind the scenes and hopefully they get their name back.

Yes, both "Sucker" and "Dead Serious" are Jag and a bunch of new guys that have no history with ASD. The original lineup hasn't released any new material yet, but yesterday they posted a photo on their Instagram (@shewatchedthesky) of them recording captioned "New." Anything released by "A Skylit Drive" will just be Jag, and the original lineup will release music as ASD until they say otherwise.

I believe Kyle's dad used to be the business manager of the band and stole or embezzled a lot of money from the band. So that probably has something to do with it.

Why "Wires..." isn't available on Spotify? Or this is happening only in my region?

I just realized that the band would end either way and actually without Michael we have more chances for ASD to continue. That's what Michael said in 2017: "I strongly felt the band should respectively end following how many changes we had already endured. Nick clearly disagreed and wishes to Frankenstein the band how he sees fit." - so basically if he would stay - the band would end. Without him band has a chance to continue with a new vocalist. Michael is right in one thing though, their last album ASD was different, especially vocal-wise. I guess another album will be the total new era indeed, with new sound and vocalist.

they can't continue because jag don't let them. he is in the contract. his ego got really big when he started with bodybuilding. Even Cory and Brian left because of him.

I hope one day they reunite with Jordan. Wouldn’t mind Jag either but if they ever got a new vocalist I honestly think Matt Lamb of Odd Project would do them Justice...

His music taste kinda changes every year lol. But it's not the real reason. I think he expressed interest several times but he is not a really good live singer and the other members know it. Apart from that he has issues. Not sure if it's a drug problem but if you followed his posts then you know what I am talking about.

It's a shame they're ok hiatus and kicked Jag out. As much as I have been getting kind of sick of them as of late, I don't think they should stop. I think them getting a new vocalist could be a good way to refresh their sound. Would love to see Jordan Blake (original singer), True Arahill (ex-Youth in Revolt), or Cove Reber (ex-Saosin) join the band.

Were you sick of them because of their change in style, or were you just tired of Jag's voice? As someone who likes all of their stuff (personal fav is Identity on Fire, but I'm a huge fan of all of their albums), I'm genuinely curious.

Honestly? Maybe a bit of both? If they kept the style they did in their first ep and their first 2 albums, I really think I wouldn't be sick of Jag's voice. or if they got heavier and Jag started putting more emotion in his voice, I honestly think Jag would not bore me, but I could be wrong. jag just doesn't sound as interesting compared to other vocalists now and he just doesn't stand out. That plus their sound has been the same after the 3rd album and just repetitive. Wbu? Do you feel similar?

I'm not sure how I feel. I definitely feel like his voice has less emotion on ASD, though I actually really like that album. I think if they had kept that style, I'd get bored of them pretty quickly, though. I liked his voice progressively less after Identity on Fire. However, he's starting a new band called Signals, and I like his vocal style on their first single a lot more than his vocals on Rise and ASD, so I'm optimistic about that.
