ya im definatly not a fan. they almost seem like a band that should have potential. imagine if they just went straight hardcore. unfortunatly they think making more pop sounding songs is better. unfortunate.

Oh shit, I just realized, not everyone speaks english as native language.

The Used are brilliant. Yeah, the new album wasn't quite what I was expecting, but its still great. And they kick arse live.

i agree with Novander, they do put on an amazing show. their new cd doesnt compare to their first, but i still love em both.

C'mon people, there's far worse stuff than 'The Used' out there...

Their new album is nice to listen to every now and then as a chill out CD, and I still like 'Taste of Ink' of their first album.

There's better stuff out there, that's for sure. But worse as well. ;-)

Personally i think they are awesome. Yes we all know that the new cd isnt that great. I was really disappointed with it and it sounds very pop and blah. There a couple of decent songs on there though. They are an amazing live band with alot of energy.

I hate people who try to score scene points by jumping on a band wagon just because someone has posted about how they dont like this band. Who cares. There are alot more bands out there who you probably think suck more. Oh and at least they are actuallyu living thier dream.

i think the used are absolutely brilliant. loved them for a long time - at first, I wasnt impressed with the new album, but now I love it.

if you dont like a band, dont listen to them. its pretty easy not to.

I've heard worse. I actually do own the first album. They definitely don't deserve their huge mainstream overnight status and to be playing huge sets on tour over superior bands opening for them such as Killswitch Engage and underOATH. Oh yeah, The Used on CD is a different story than live though. The Used live is AWFUL. Bert misses every 2 or 3 notes he tries to sing and his scream is really weak and pussfied. The guitarist decides to scoop is tone so it's completely inaudible compared to the bass and drums. That's one quarter of the band that has been rendered completely useless and another that makes them sound worse. And I've seen them on a dvd and on a couple different warped tours, so I know it wasn't a one time thing.

Really? i thought the Used were one of the best live acts ever. So much energy.

Well I mean they have an decent amount of energy for a mainstream band. I won't hate on you if they are your thing, I could point out bands that have alot more energy though.

The Used is one of my top artists, but not because I'm a big fan of their stuff. I have like 6 of their songs and I was completely obsessed with A Box Full of Sharp Objects a few weeks ago. My obsession has calmed down since then.

i like the used..bought their last album bout a month ago.. it's nice.. but live they kick ass!
