Are you more a "doom" fan or "stoner" fan

Stoner/Doom equally, but as ,,doom", I understand only traditional doom, not this black, death, funeral crap.

Man, this is a tough ? I love both but I find I like both traditional doom and old school stoner the best. Some of the new genres I don't like. If I had to pick a first I would say stoner first and doom a VERY close second.

i can listen pure stoner but can't stand pure doom its really boring annoying for me but stoner,... god create this music for me yeah !!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to stay away from the "stoner vs doom" way of thinking.
Bands, albums and experiences come first. Genres only come in handy when you try to decribe a certain sound or mood to someone. It doesn't really work the other way around with this kind of music in my opinion.

If I would choose stoner, I would be dismissing a lot of great bands that don't fit the genre's typical stylistic properties, while these bands do bring on the same atmosphere heard in "real" stoner bands.

Secondly, I don't think musicians care much about what genre they're in. The best bands I know are the ones who keep redefining their style with every record, in a way constructing their own genre. That's the best thing about this music!

I really love both, and I am not sure if I can decide... Out of the two genres my favourite bands are Kyuss, Electric Wizard, and QOTSA, but I listen to lots of bands from both genres.
