as the title says, Slam Death Metal is great, but deathcore is shit, I'm tired of trendy kids telling me their band is grind or slam when they're just shitty deathcore, so fuck scene/emo/trendy...

    this group fucking fails. you all act as if BDM were that fail-safe genre that consists only of awesome artists when in fact you have to wade through a huge fucking shitstorm of terribly bland copy cats to actually find some bands worth listening to. and hey, guess what - the same applies to deathcore. the only reason you think all deathcore sucks is that you're too fucking closeminded and ignorant to actually dig through all the deathcore shit to find some of the good bands.     I don't hate ALL slam death metal. I quite like Devourment, Dying Fetus, Ingested and Cerebral Bore, but all the other bands are just Devourment copycats. While deathcore is far from original, it's still better than slam in EVERY way.

    Both or awesome. I love deathcore and I don't really give a fuck if you don't, but you don't need to bash it. Deathcore is NOT the future of death metal, heck, it's barely even death metal at all. Scene kids can listen to whatever the hell they want, why should I care what they listen to? There are some pretty heavy deathcore bands but anyone can tell brutal death is obviously heavier. Stop bitching about the genres and just enjoy the fucking music you like. There are good deathcore bands out there and there are still good brutal death bands nowadays, it's just taking the time to find them. And btw, insulting somebody's looks or style does not make you any more brutal or cool or whatever, it just makes you a freaking faggot for trying to show off your e-penis.

    both are sweet. btw TBDM is melodeath not deathcore, it's not like their songs are riddled with breakdowns. Same with JFAC, Genesis and Ruination are death metal, not deathcore, and have no core elements in them. Whether you think they're quality releases is completely subjective but the fact that they're death metal isn't up for debate. Doom on the other hand is deathcore(not a big fan of this ep myself). Oh and be elite and connect Gorguts and Fleshgod Apocalypse to this group, js.
