    I think that G.Harrison "Electronic Sound" album should join the list! As far as I know he use Moog synthesizer on this cd.
    It's mainly albums list, but can be also one recording (song) :)

  • well, if you go back to the 50's & 60's when a lot of the seminal abstract electronic music was being created, there were few electronic 'albums' unless they were compilations or soundtracks. as far as soundtracks, I'd recommend Bebe & Louis Barron's Forbidden Planet
    Poeme Electronique by Edgard Varese (the Father of Electronic Music) is and incredible piece of sonics. it was written for the Phillips Pavillion designed by Le Courbusier at the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. there's a YouTube of the multimedia piece
    here.

    I recomend also Bruce Haack: Electric To Me Turn, From album Electric Lucifer 1970, and his works for children :D


  • I was not familiar with his work - wish somebody like that had been out there when I was a kid - then I wouldn't have been glued to the shortwave band for hours at a time - lol.
