This is a group for music in the vein of Oldschool Heavy Metal days. There shall be no Mallcore scenewhores in our way. The Metal Inquisition is here to emphasize the classic elements of slaughtering true Heavy Metal. Join our lines if you love Oldschool Heavy Metal whole-heartedly as much as you hate Mallcore shit being labeled by the media & its fans as "Metal". This is a place exclusively for Metalheads who enjoy the raw sounds of Heavy Metal. Mallcore and Nü-"Metal" will not be tolerated, do not join with that shit in your charts.

Mallcore (or Shitcore) is a generic name for several genres which generally includes incoherent screaming, noise, distortion and created by talentless wannabe "musicians". Mostly low life white trash dumb kids with no sense of music hanging out in shopping malls listen to it and they believe they are metalheads listening to metal :). Mallcore includes: metalcore, emocore, noisecore, grindcore, hardcore, deatchcore, trashcore, generally anything with "core" in the name.

Pink Floyd is way down at #94 on the charts at this time. Other than the lack of Doom Metal, I do not see much reason to complain about the charts. Anyway, Pink Floyd deserves credit as one of the 1st bands experimenting with heavy metal back in the 60's. Listen to the 1967 version of Interstellar Overdrive and the Nile Song. Both can be found on the Relics album. Interstellar Overdrive was the rawest and most agressive track in 1967.

I am not pleased with the presence of Pantera and Anthrax on the charts, but otherwise, very good! Now veryone listen to True Doom! Orodruin, Warning, Count Raven, Fall of the Idols, The Gates of Slumber, Hour of 13, Scald, Seamount, etc, etc.. Happiness for all!

Opeth is off the charts - good. They were great on the 1st couple albums, but they don't play metal any more. Grrr, just about the same goes for Burzum, #9 in the chart!

Well yeah, there was a secret coup :-). Actually tkonfm offered the leadership to me and I accepted it, no guns were used. I prefer to limit the discussions to Heavy Metal. Ok, executing Mallcore kiddies as RATM lovers are acceptable.

Nah, Stained Class for the win. Sad Wings of Destiny is great, but Stained Class is more representative of the band overall and in my opinion by far their best album. You can't really go wrong with any of the albums suggested here though. All are absolutely superb.
