Jonathan Mess artistic style.

Messism is an artistic style from the hypermodernity mainly use by Jonathan Mess in Dance Gavin Dance. It is most often characterized by non-sense sentences, imagery-inspired rhetoric, unusual grammatical forms, synthaxic disorders and in some case, dynamic onomatopoeias. The main themes are the absurdity of life and the present moment. Jon Mess also use cameo ("Hello my name is Jon Fucking Mess, I wrote a script to get you out of your dress!", "Jon Mess you should own a gun.", etc.) to illustrate more credibility to his artistry. His lyrics make absolutely no sense in out of the context of the song. It's like if Jon Mess puking Dalì surrealist painting.

Thanks Cletus! And that video was of them at the Boardwalk in CA. Since it's the band's hometown I guess they asked Jon to pass by and do vocals on that one song.

So in that video ^ how come John was doing that song during the Happiness tour? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they put out the self-titled, John left, then they went into the studio to do Happiness with will screaming. Did john join back in during touring for that album?
