  • About Gnome...

Indeed, I still use Gnome, but I got to say it, my systems are still running with v2.32 because I don't like to use the new version.

Even KDE4 is closer to Gnome2.x than current v3, which itself is more like a counterpart to Canonical's Unity what might have been quite nice and fun on a netbook, but I wouldn't use it on desktops systems, espcially not, when using HDTVs like I do.

Good thing I can still use Gnome2.32 a long time, because when Debian7 gets released, I think I should look for an alternate like LXDE or XFCE.

    Hi :)

I don't know. I guess I realized that I'm just Bud Fox … and as much as I wanted to be Gordon Gekko, I'll always be Bud Fox.

Compiz + tint2. No Gnome/XFCE. Although I do use Thunar... Lightweight eye-candy perfection.

Torvalds also said that if FreeBSD had existed in it's current state when he began work on the Linux kernel, Linux would not even exist. Screw Linux! ;)

I use KDE 4.5.5 on my Laptop (running Linux) and KDE 3.5.10 on my desktop (running FreeBSD). I also compile my kernel in /usr/src/linux instead of my home directory.

Thanks to Linus for the Linux kernel, but his opinions don't mean much to me.
