Do computational linguists count?

Title says it all. I am a student of computational linguistics (see wikipedia for info). Am I right here?

I'm in no position to make a statement on behalf of this group, but I certainly think so (in fact I am currently working on a presentation for ACL2008)

Even if you were trying to do computational linguistics on a slide-rule, you'd be good here.
