Opis:
this group can be interpreted in different ways thanks to SilverSteelLady for pointing them out, the list of reasons Of Which (if any feel applicable), join for the reason that most suits you

if multiple artists bother you, that is. some are more obvious than others i.e band name made of 1 word.

EDIT: i hope this isn't confusing. message me bio alterations you would like to see any here.

Reason 1 - The artist that is most recognizable under that name and you love that one artist and are uninterested in the other 4 or 5 other artists i.e. a musician known simply as Deviln is a Grime artist, but on the current bio there is a link to a goth-metal band.. you may not like both, but you enjoy a specific artist that has the most popularity and you think they sound better than the others.

Reason 2 - the case of two artists where "X" split-up and "Y" is still together, Join if you enjoy the one that split up

Reason 3 - the case of two artists where they are both active and working under the same name and disregarding popularity, join for either band you enjoy over the other ie techno shiva - NWOHBM Shiva

Reason 4 - Join if you enjoy more than 1 band from a list of more than two, but dislike the others ie ritual has a list of SIXTEEN bands - are there bands in that list you dislike?

Almost forgot. A NWOBHM band called Shiva [I'm madly in love with them for some reason] and a techno band called Shiva. Even though the techno one has more scrobbles, most tags in the page are "NWOBHM", "metal", etc. and the band pic is the one of the Metal band; the techno fans get annoyed by this and they are right. but I wouldn't like to have techno tags or a techno band pic showing up in my charts when I listen to Shiva. There's also a thrash metal band called Disturbed. I don't really care for them, though. ///// Bottom line: I don't wish to start an argument or anything, I have no problems against you or your musical taste, you're free to like whatever you want IMO and I will not criticize you for your tastes. But so am I. If it were for me, different artists WOULD have different last.fm pages. If there's someone who cares for any artist then they diserve a page here. Everyone, no matter what they like, would be happier that way.

Another example of the "legal conflicts" - Incubus from Louisiana and Incubus from California. The Louisiana Incubus were a thrash band that was active in the 80s-90s & recorded two albums, then split up. California Incubus trademarked the moniker later, and when Louisiana Incubus reformed they changed their names to Opprobium to spare themselves the legal battle. They are still active. And yes they are well known in the metal crowd. ////// There is also the case of Sabbat from the UK and Sabbat from Japan, both active and both very well known bands; of Pessimist from USA and Pessimist from the Czech Rep, both active; Mephisto from Germany and Mephisto from Italy, both split up, Quo Vadis from Canada [the famous one] and Quo Vadis from Poland, both active. etc. Most of these bands would appeal to the same demographics, but in my opinion it is still annoying that it all gets mixed up in your charts.
