News!!! (updated: March 14th) Gemma recorded her third, upcoming new album "The Hollow Of Morning" in France, along with David Odlum and Paul Noonan. My Bloody Valentine frontman Kevin Shields will be on the album with a few guitar parts, too. The record is already finished and mixed, it will be released on 12th May along with the single "Out of our hands" (5th May). From what the irish singer-songwriter described yet, it's going to be a really "spacy and mellow record". She also experimented with her voice and an old microphone on one song. I'm a recently addicted fan to the music of Gemma Hayes... off to see her in The Yard Restaurant on Monday Sept. 1st for what hope is a lovely meal and a great intimate gig. Really loving "Hollow of the Morning" at the moment... "Constant Speed" is pure perfection. Keep up the great work Gemma. :) Anthony

Just heard Gemma's collaboration with chillout producers Anti Alias called It's A Shame - stunning stuff that's definitely worth a listen. Don't think it's on last.fm yet, but there's a full stream at http://virb.com/antiatlas/ ... Can't wait to get the single next month!
