Yeah the Yoga master as he is referred to could be the template for Dhalsim. Still great movie, the masters theme called Super 16 by NEU! is just fantastic.

i watched 5 deadly venoms the other day for the first time. that shish was FUEGO. on a side note, i gotta say of all the last.fm groups im a member of, i feel this one best represents my musical taste, as far as ' connected artist'.

Legend of Red Dragon (1994) with Jet Li is amazing.. though it's pretty "new" so I don't know does it count to old school.. It still has the spirit of old shaolin films.
