For Last.fm people tagging their files with album names as artist is a problem, epecially if there is an actual artist named that.
Band names can be difficult to make up. Sometimes they are the same as a soundtrack like a musical or a movie. Sometimes the band comes first, sometimes not.
For Last.fm this can be a problem as some people like to put the soundtrack name as the artist. For more popular bands like Chicago it's less of a problem, but for smaller bands like Wicked or Tangled it can really mess up their statistics.
