The original last.fm Adrian Smith fan group. (I think. I can't be bothered to check. I don't remember there being any others when I created the group)

The Adrian Smith Appreciation Project is the original last.fm fan groups in honour of Adrian Smith.

Adrian was a member of:
Urchin, Iron Maiden, Adrian Smith and Project (A.S.A.P.) and Psycho Motel. He also recorded with Bruce Dickinson on his Chemical Wedding and Accident Of Birth albums.

Here's just a few of the songs he helped write for Maiden, join if these are among your favourite Maiden tunes: Wasted Years, 2 Minutes To Midnight, Flight Of Icarus, Back In The Village, 22 Acacia Avenue, Paschendale, Die With Your Boots On and The Wickerman

upigican: It's very hard to rank the members of Iron Maiden. I think like this, Iron Maiden is like any molecule. E.g. water H2O. What happens when you remove the oxygene? It's not water anymore. :-)

No coincidence that Adrian's departure from Maiden in 89' coincided with the run of their worst ever albums. (90-99) A true guitar master with his unequivocal style. The day 'H' returned was pivotal for this new and rejuvenated Maiden. Up the Irons, Long Live 'H'
