Foreign artists being scrobbled as "???"....

is this only a temporary issue? I'm listening to Susumu Hirasawa (平沢進 is the artist tag and last.fm page though) and the scrobbles come out as "???". I haven't had this issue before playing the same artist and same album, and I know the album is tagged correctly....

Please could anybody share some light on this for me? I noticed other listeners on his page having the same issue too. I don't know if this is affecting other artists though.
