audioscrobbler for foobar 0.8.3

i also want to use AS with good old foobar 0.8.3 and at first the old 1.2.4. plugin seemed to work perfect but unfortunately it doesn't.

foobar says:"INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Submitting cache...
INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Submission failed: INTERVAL 1"

password and anything is correct and with 0.9 and the latest plugin it worked.

any suggestions ?

so is the plugin v1.2.4 now unsupported and not working anymore? i only get
INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Handshake failed: Incorrect protocol versionwith foobar 0.8.3 which worked fine until some some days ago.

and no I can't upgrade the plugin cause newer versions only work on foobar 0.9.x which I won't use until there is a working 7z reader...

Hi,
i downloaded the foo_audioscrobbler.dll and put it in my foobar2000/components folder. After restarting foobar, there pop up the following message:

i don't have shared.dll

after this i search here for another version and find out here:

http://www.last.fm/forum/25/_/17668

But after installing this version, there pop up this message:

LIBCURL.DLL was not found

I`m using foobar 0.83 on Windows XP. Does anybody help me?

i repeatedly have gotten:

INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Submission failed: INTERVAL 1

and

INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Submission failed: Plugin bug: Not all request variables are set - no POST parameters.
INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Submit interval set to 1 seconds.

but it still submits successfully now and then. is there a solution or is it just a problem on my end.

I'm running plugin 1.2.4 linked from the first post, the latest Last.fm, and Foobar 8.3.

It doesn't seem to be working, in the Foobar console it says that handshaking fails because the client is asleep. Any ideas? Do I need an older version of Last.fm or something?

fb2k 0.8.3 + as 1.2.4

I have fb2k 0.8.3 + as 1.2.4 and it works perfectly :) there is no problem at all...

however when you simultaneously use 1.2.4 and any newer version, the 1.2.4 will not work... if so, you must close newer one, close and run again fb2k - and then it will work again (for me at least) :) and do not use newer version while you are running fb2k 0.8.3 with as 1.2.4

if anyone need 1.2.4 version it is available here:

and fb2k 0.8.3 special (the newest official package available) is here:

AFAIK this forum isn't liked from anywhere (apart from the reply tracker) so your unlikely to get a response. But yea the 1.2.4 plug-in only did its handshake on start-up. Also the first reply link still works for me...

hi i'm new
and i a novice
i use foobar 0.8.3
installed the plug 1.2.4 & Last.fm

i setup the plugins with username & password
but i can't see last.fm program now playing
and it doesn't update my music

why?
what can i do?

Hi,

can anyone provide me some sort of guide to get whatever I play on my foobar2000 0.8.3 recorded in Last.fm?

I installed audioscrobbler 1.2.4 but I didn't get any sort of message, let alone a sign in request...

It seems to work, the foobar console reads:

INFO (CORE) : startup time: 437 ms
INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Handshaking: Client up to date.
INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Submit interval set to 1 seconds.
INFO (foo_audioscrobbler) : Handshake successful.
INFO (CORE) : opening file for playback :
INFO (CORE) : location: "file://D:\Musica\Post Rock\Mogwai\1997 - Ten Rapid\01 - Summer_mpc.mp3" (0)

But then I don't get anymore infos when I move to the next song and my last.fm profile on the website still shows as if I hadn't played any music... :O
