Events search - requires city?

(I know that I can easily access an artist's tour dates from their page, but...)

When searching for events from the Events page, it would appear that we need to enter a location, else the search process fails.

Take this as an example:


Without entering a city, no results are returned.

However, there are clearly events for this artist:

From a standpoint of usability, shouldn't leaving the city field blank show an artist's entire inventory (like it does if we search from the header - see: http://www.last.fm/events?by=artists&q=esthero)?
