Artist Images - Voting Issues

When I've voted for some artist images in the past few days, the one with the most votes has sometimes been toppled in favour of an image in second place, yet the image on the artist page hasn't changed.

I've noticed this on a few occasions and it's not due to an 'official' image being in place, which I'm aware has different rules applied to it than non-official images.

Anyone else noticed this?

I have too, in several instances. Sonic Youth and Elliott Smith are the only two I can recall at the moment, but it seems to be happening sitewide.

The pic for Dylan Mondegreen that had the most votes just mysteriously disappeared today and was replaced by the one with the second most votes. I don't mean voted down, I mean DISAPPEARED. The same thing happened with Loney, Dear last month (the default being a pic I actually uploaded, so it was easy to notice). I had to upload it again, but it will probably never be the default anymore because of the stupid new 70 vote system.

Lastfm is falling to pieces.

Whilst these things are frustrating, they're not the end of the world. The technical team will sort it in time.

Actually, I've seen this on all my artists that the picture is not changed anymore when a new one gets to the top 1 position.

Here are samples (notice that the top 1 voted picture is not applied on the artist image) :
• Quang Dũng : pics
• 絢香 : pics (I even have a very strange display bug here, with Opera)
• GALNERYUS : pics
• Mink : pics
• …

The wonderful b&w John Lennon photo that's been the default artist image for several weeks was changed today at some point and replaced by the #2 voted image, only it's not even available to vote for anymore. It's another one that just disappeared completely off the site.

Sorry, but you're not describing the same problem. In your case, the picture displayed is indeed the top voted picture.

It seems to be OK now, at least for my few examples.

Oh but I still have a display bug with

Yeah, I noticed that weird display bug when using Opera 9.25, looks correct on Firefox.

The 2/2 bugs are fixed.

The layout problem in Opera is fixed since long ago (probably simultaneously), sorry not to say it sooner.

Is the bug fixed, or did youz guyz just fix the ones in question?

Sebastian's top image is not official, and it has 83 positive votes and 21 negative votes. The second place photo has 137 positive votes and 14 negative votes. Shouldn't that one be ahead?
