MrStripe hm. They aren't very helpful. The RV section was never close to being full every time we went. Hope there is something else if that doesn't work but I don't know why that wouldn't work.

They said they're expecting the RV section to be full and seemed pretty negative to the idea of kids camping around there. It was weird because I called a few weeks before and a different person said people always camp there and they never run out of room. We'll see what happens I guess.

We always camped near the RV section. It is a really gravel-ly area but there is some grassy hills towards the edge of the street. I doubt they sold that. Maybe you could ask around when you get there.

uh oh.... we called the marina and they said they sold the field!! they said there's no camping..... freaking out.

Yes, a lot of people camp at the marina. Between 9th and 11th St on Q Ave.

they are the same, but the idea of eating a dinner event with a lot of people seems like it is something i would want to do when i feel like i have "settled down" more...i don't know. also, and i'm not entirely sure how the whole thing works out or anything like that, but it seems like there'd be a lot more things to bring up in casual conversations to other people, you know? like, "hey man what'd you think about karl blau last night?" or "so did you find any cool things at the rummage sale?"
