  HeyItsMeJaya, are you serious? Broken Social Scene blows? Besides the technical issues, they were amazing. And I'm not just saying that because I happen to adore them. I love Cold War Kids as well, but I'll admit that the singer's voice isn't very strong live. Broken Social Scene on the other hand was spot on. Crybabies? Kevin Drew saying, "Shit happens. You want something fixed, you gotta do it yourself," and keeping us entertained while the equipment got fixed hardly qualifies as being a crybaby. Yeahhh, "playing through the pain" sure makes a lot of sense. Their mics were cracking, for god's sake. And you couldn't even hear Liz in the first part of Shoreline. Shit needed to get fixed.

  In my defense, ff the Dutch crowd could mosh to a Dinosaur Jr. show, why not mosh to "KC Accidental"? I realized I look like a fool. But I find the person snapping a photo per minute far more annoying.

  Broken Social Scene blooooowwwws. I don't know why they let the technical issues get to them like it did. Whiny McCrybabies they were. Play through the pain! Cold War Kids were amazing. The crowd was too full of frat boys yelling, "OH MY GOD! THEY'RE TOTALLY PLAYING MY JAM! DID YOU HEAR IT?! WAIT NOT THIS SONG. BUT THIS SONG TOTALLLLLY ROCKS!!!!! (Throws up devil horns and makes me cry)" Regardless, of the shitty crowd it was good. Shed a tear for missing HEALTH and !!!.

  I had no problem with drunk people going in an out of the crowd, it is a music festival. There were people that irked me. From some lame bitch taking a photo per minute, my lame attempt to start a mosh pit during KC Accidental to an unenthusiastic crowd, to some dumb assholes arguing during Anthems For A 17 year old girl, the crowd was incredibly lame.

  Did anyone else get pretty much trampled over by that crazy woman during BSS!? She literally came from the back and ran over everyone to get upfront, but she was like really drunk, scary, and crazy and she was like crying too. Security ended up having to try to get her out of the crowd because everyone was complaining about her, and on her way out of the crowd she tripped and hit her head on the fence where all the back stagers were and stayed on the ground for a good two minutes then when she got up all you saw was like bloooddd dripping down her whole face. It was pretty intense! ps, I got to see Danny Masterson! And I got back stage too! BSS was outstanding, as always.

  How awesome was Broken Social Scene?!?! <3 <3 <3 Such a cheap ticket to see them. Menomena of course kicked ass as well, and Entrance Band was pretty cool. Loved the bassist.

  The Germs are playing. They are the band whose name is covered with a badly photoshopped "Special Guest" on a graphic on the website and the band that is listed as "TBA/Aug. 17" on the schedule. How do I know? There are flyers advertising the fest in various places in LA that have The Germs uncensored. Don't see the point of keeping it a secret on the site but not on the flyers.
