Now in its Fifth year the Nantwich Words and Music Festival brings together the worlds of music and literature for a week of intimate gigs and events. This year Indie-pop band Athlete will be performing acoustic versions of songs from their 10 year career while Tim Burgess of the Charlatans and Squeeze guitarist and songwriter Chris Difford combine acoustic performances with tales from their music-industry past. Difford teams up with comedian Norman Lovett with their Edinburgh fringe show "It's all about me".
Thea Gilmore and Mark Radcliffe return and the festival welcomes newcomer Jack Savoretti, US country and folk star Mary Gauthier,.
