Hey look, it's thursday again.
If you haven't heard, the big news this weekend is the SoCo Music Experience show featuring Justice and MGMT on Saturday. I had earlier said this would be at SPAC but after some confusion it looks like it'll be at the Altamont Fairgrounds at 2:00pm. It's strictly a 21 and over show, which sucks for those of you without fake IDs and is great for those of us who find you whippersnappers really annoying at shows. Other bands on the lineup include Lotus, The Whigs, Heartless Bastards, Erotics, Skadee, Severe Severe, The Crayons, and Disasters Of Hollywood. Oh, and it's absolutely FREE.
Friday gives us Mary Gauthier and Lori McKenna at the Egg if you're down for some folksy chicks. The Red Square has a lineup of mostly bands who think their names are edgy, starring local favorites Scientific Maps. More edgy band names cna be found at Revolution Hall with Tony Clifton and the Katrina-Kiss-My-Ass Orchestra. …
