The Zeronaut
The Norwegian band 55 Escape completes the line-up of in total 13 bands that will be attacking the 3 stages at Chateau Neuf/Betong in Oslo, November 7-8. The following bands will play each day:
- Friday, November 7: Immortal, Sodom, Keep Of Kalessin, Bal-Sagoth, Nightingale and Hate
- Saturday, November 8: Candlemass, Borknagar, Moonsorrow, Grave Digger, The Batallion, 55 Escape and The Zeronaut
Norwegian Metal Awards starting 2009
Taking on the massive job of arranging the Norwegian Metal Awards, we have come to the conclusion to delay the start of this annual monster event to next year's Screamfest ('09). We simply need more time to arrange and make this event as great as we want it to be. We ask those who have bought full day pass for Saturday (which includes the awards) to please contact us on info(at)screamfest.no for refund.

Festival hotel
Screamfest now offer these hotel deals with Thon Hotel Slottsparken (Wergelandsveien 5):
- Double room + breakfast = NOK 1395 (ca 175 Euro) per night.
This room has beds for 2 people only (no room for extra beds) and has a small kitchen.
- Studio apartment + breakfast = NOK 1495 per night (ca 187 Euro.)
This room has 2 separate beds and space for 2 extra beds (limit of 4 people.) Extra beds are NOK 300 each (ca 38 Euro.) The apartment also has a kitchen.
