The Gathering features the crystalline harmonies of Rhiannon Giddens (of Grammy winning Carolina Chocolate Drops) and Laurelyn Dossett backed by an all star string band including Mike Compton (of Grammy winning Nashville Bluegrass Band), Joe Newberry and Jason Sypher. This collaboration from a variety of traditional backgrounds tell a story on a winter’s night with high energy hoedowns to heartfelt remembrances of holidays at home.
