Originally from Virginia, Jason Mraz was first signed in 2002 by Elektra Records. His first studio album "Waiting for My Rocket to Come" was released in 2002 and featured his single "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)." Since then, Mraz has gone on to release a concert album titled "Jason Mraz's Beautiful Mess — Live on Earth," and two studio albums, "Mr. A-Z" and "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." According toBillboard, "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.," Mraz's album that we released in 2008, debuted on the ¬Billboard 200 chart at No. 3 as a result of selling 73,000 albums in its first week.

Also partaking in Tour Is A Four Letter Word with Jason Mraz, is singer Christina Perri. Perri will be performing songs off her album "Lovestrong," that was released in April 2011. According to the artist’s website, Perri got her start when she was asked to perform "Jar of Hearts" on TV reality show So You Think You Can Dance. "Jar of Hearts" sold a million downloads after debuting on the show, in addition to helping to earn her a record deal with Atlantic Records. "Lovestrong" is her first studio album that was released last year. "I looked at the album as a whole piece and the two themes that stood out were love and strength," Christina Perri explained on her official website. "It really titled itself. Writing about love is just who I am. I've tried to write about other things, but ultimately this is what comes out of me." The album also includes her new single "Distance," which includes Jason Mraz.
