Empyrium’s debut concert at this year’s Wave Gotik Treffen was a brilliant event frenetically celebrated by fans and press alike. It became immediately apparent to Schwadorf that he couldn’t allow this to be his former main band’s only performance. Hence, we are happy to announce another live appearance by the pioneers of nature-romantic music: on January 21st, 2012, EMPYRIUM are going to perform their only German gig for that year in the history-charged walls of the Christuskirche in Bochum/Germany. The top-class live line-up is going to be the same as at the first concert in Leipzig:

Schwadorf: vocals, guitar
Helm: vocals, piano
Konstanz (The Vision Bleak): drums
Neige (Alcest): guitar
Eviga (Dornenreich): guitar
Teyssier (Les Discrets): bass
Deinert (Neun Welten): violin
Kutzer (Remember Twilight): cello

Exclusive support act will be Dornenreich this evening, giving one of their stunning acoustic performances.

As of now, concert tickets can be ordered in five different categories via Prophecy’s online-shop. Categories I to III refer to the main hall, categories IV and V to the gallery of the Christuskirche.

    Indeed, we were among fans. Personally, I think the sound was really good (except we couldn't hear Thomas' vocals and Neige's guitar on the first song), and the performance amazing. In one word, it was really great and I really hope to see them again in the future. I would go anywhere for that...

    Einfach für dieses Erlebnis war es das Geld wert. Nichtsdestotrotz war der Sound gräuslich abgemischt. Helm so garnicht hören zu können war echt DIE Enttäuschung (und das lag nicht nur daran, dass das Schlagzeug lauter als alles andere war). Naja, und die Songauswahl hat mich nur bedingt befriedigt. Aber wozu meckern? Im Endeffekt werde ich doch immer guten Gewissens an diesen Abend zurückdenken können.
